I have just completed a long techno-fantasy novel. Here is the synopsis: It is the year 2229. The world has made great advances in technology. The Savants, robots with a higher intelligence than humans, have genetically engineered a new race of men called the "NUMA" which has a longer lifespan. Since their birth, the NUMA have been persecuted because falsely accused of wanting to replace the human race, so much so that, twenty years beforehand, a civil war took place aimed at their massacre. This was avoided thanks to the guidance of General Luther Wall. Wall was a legendary figure believed to be immortal, who was to teach his people how to reach immortality. That, however, did not take place and indeed the novel begins on the evening of his funeral.
