Description:

This training course was designed for memoQ users who already have experience with memoQ and want to learn more.

You will learn in more detail about the following features:

• add document as... settings for DOC and Excel
• adding folder structures instead of single files, and changing the import settings
• cascading filters for Excel containing HTML
• history of a document (compare source docs, compare target documents after exporting a file to RTF table)
• how bilingual files from Trados should look when you want to import them into memoQ
• working with views
• changing export path rules
• and much more...

Speakers:Angelika Zerfaß
Angelika Zerfass, a translator for Chinese/Japanese/German by training worked as a training and support specialist for Trados from 1997 to 2000. During that time, she was responsible for training, presentation and technical support for Trados tools used at Microsoft Japan and later in the US. Since 2000 she is a freelance trainer and consultant for translation tools, based in Bonn, Germany. She speaks frequently at conferences like Localization World and tekom as well as workshops like the Localization and Project Management Certification Workshops.
Istvan Lengyel
István is the CEO of Kilgray, and thinks that there is nothing more important than channeling the customers’ business challenges to development and coming up with innovative yet easy-to-use solutions. He loves to work with customers who can articulate what they are looking for and believes that the best way of learning is through interaction.

István has a degree in economics, a postgraduate degree in translation and interpreting, and a PhD in translation studies. István also translated several books on business and IT into Hungarian and also designed a translation workflow system prior to joining Kilgray. He is a great fan of problem-solving expert selling.
Denis Hay
Denis Hay has been a freelancer translator and editor for more than 15 years. His extensive experience of CAT tools and localization lead him to progressively focus his career to consulting on workflows and CAT tools. He joined Kilgray Translation Technologies as a pre-sales technical consultant and trainer, where he guides people in their first steps with memoQ server.
