Source text - English The Nord C1 Combo Organ features simulations of three
classic organ models; one tonewheel and two transistor
(Electric-V and Electric-F).
The Organ Section features three main areas for control:
• The Drawbar section is where you set-up the basic
organ sound structure. It is divided into three areas
connected to the UPPER and LOWER manuals, plus the
BASS PEDAL input.
• The PERCUSSION area is where you control the percus-
sion effect (available to the Tonewheel organ model
only)
• The VIBRATO/CHORUS area is where you select the cho-
rus and/or vibrato effect depending on the selected
organ model.
THE DRAWBARS
The drawbars of Nord C1 Combo Organ are
represented by buttons and LED chain
graphs instead of ordinary mechanical
drawbars. This gives you a big advantage:
when you change PRESET or PROGRAM, the
correct drawbar settings are recalled imme-
diately and shown by the LEDs. In other
words, no need for the regular “trial and er-
ror” method. It’s very easy to get the hang of
changing the drawbar settings in a natural
way with the buttons.
The drawbars of Nord C1 Combo Organ be-
have similar to their mechanical counter-
parts, i.e. with the Tonewheel and Electric-V models you
“pull out” and “push in” the drawbars using the DRAWBAR
buttons. The buttons are special in the way that they auto-
increment/decrement the drawbar value when held. I.e. if
you hold a DRAWBAR button the corresponding drawbar
value will continue to increment or decrement (within its
range) until you release the button.
Also, while holding a DRAWBAR button, you can press its
sibling button to momentarily auto-increment/decrement
in the opposite direction.
With the Electric-F model, DRAWBAR buttons functions as
switches, toggling each register between on and off.
PRESET BUTTONS
The PRESET buttons lets you change back and forth be-
tween different drawbar set-ups instantly. Changes are au-
tomatically saved and recalled the next time you activate
the same preset.
• The UPPER and LOWER drawbars have their own set of
preset buttons. Further to storing the drawbar settings,
the UPPER manuals percussion on/off setting is stored
as well.
• In PROG mode, PRESET changes will be lost if the pro-
gram is not saved.
THE SPLIT FUNCTION
By activating the LOWER MAN button
you split the lower manual in two sec-
tions at the key of C3. The lower section
is now connected to the BASS drawbars.
The upper section of the lower manual is connected to
LOWER drawbars as usual.
SELECTING ORGAN MODEL
You select which model to play using
the ORGAN MODEL button. Only one
model can be used at a time.
•When the Tonewheel model is acti-
vated, the BASS drawbars control the
tonewheel bass registers.
•When the Electric-V or Electric-F mod-
els is activated, the BASS drawbars con-
trol the synth bass model.
• When the Tonewheel model is activated you can acti-
vate the Synth Bass model by pressing SHIFT ORGAN
MODEL button.

La Sezione Organo è costituita da tre zone principali:
L’area delle drawbars contiene la strutturazione di base del suono dell’organo. È divisa in tre aree collegate ai manuali INFERIORE, SUPERIORE e alla PEDALIERA.
L’area della PERCUSSIONE permette il controllo dell’effetto di percussione (disponibile unicamente per il modello di organo tonewheel).
L’area VIBRATO/CHORUS contiene i parametri riguardanti l’effetto di Chorus e/o Vibrato per il modello di organo selezionato.
Drawbars
Le drawbars sul Nord C1 sono rappresentate da pulsanti e spie luminose (LEDs) invece delle classiche drawbars meccaniche. Questo vi darà due grandi vantaggi: quando cambierete PRESET o PROGRAM, la configurazione delle drawbars cambierà immediatamente e verraà visualizzata dalle spie luminose. In altre parole non ci sarà bisogno di procedere per tentativi (ed errori). È molto facile prendere dimestichezza con i pulsanti delle drawbars per modificare in tempo reale il suono di organo (una tecnica resa popolare dagli organisti più abili).
Le drawbars sul Nord C1 si comportano in modo simile alle loro equivalenti meccaniche, ad esempio: con i modelli tonewheel ed Electric-V si possono “tirare fuori” o “spingere dentro” le drawbars usando i pulsanti DRAWBAR. I pulsanti aumentano/diminuiscono il valore della drawbar corrispondente in modo automatico, quando sono tenuti premuti.
Inoltre, mentre un pulsante DRAWBAR è tenuto premuto, è possibile premere il pulsante opposto per aumentare/diminuire il valore della drawbar nella direzione opposta.
Con il modello Electric-F, i pulsanti DRAWBAR funzionano come interruttori, spegnendo e accendendo il registro corrispondente.
PULSANTI DI PRESET

I pulsanti PRESET permettono di scorrere fra tre tipi di configurazione delle drawbars, richiamandole automaticamente alla pressione del pulsante. Eventuali modifiche apportate successivamente vengono salvate automaticamente e richiamate alla successiva pressione del pulsante interessato.
Le drawbars per i manuali SUPERIORE ed INFERIORE hanno ciascuna un gruppo di tre pulsanti di preset. La configurazione dell’effetto di PERCUSSIONE viene sempre salvata assieme a quella delle drawbars.
Nella modalita’ PROG, le modifiche effettuate ad un PRESET non vengono salvate.
FUNZIONE SPLIT
Attivando il pulsante LOWER MAN nell’area BASS, il manuale INFERIORE verrà diviso all’altezza del tasto C3. La sezione al di sotto di questo punto di split sarà connessa alla PEDALIERA del BASSO e quindi collegata alle BASS drawbars. La sezione superiore al punto di split si comporterà normalmente con la configurazione del manuale INFERIORE.
Selezionare il modello di organo
Il modello di organo viene selezionato tramite il pulsante ORGAN MODEL. Non è possibile selezionare più di un modello contemporaneamente.
Quando viene selezionato il modello Tonewheel, le drawbars BASS controllano i registri della pedaliera del basso.
Quando viene selezionato il modello Electric-V o Electric-F, le drawbars BASS controllano il suono del basso sintetizzato (Synth Bass).
Quando viene selezionato il modello Tonewheel è comunque possibile attivare il suono di basso sintetizzato (Synth Bass) premendo SHIFT ORGAN MODEL.
