Welcome and thank you for visiting my profile page.
I am a specialist Italian to English translator, but very often I have translated from English to Italian with equal success.
One essential feature of a good translation is the objectiveness of the translator, which must abstain his/herself from filtering the source text through his/her own believes, tastes or preferences. It is also essential for the translation to be written in the appropriate style, so to convey exactly the message that the author of the source text intended to. You can be assured that my translation will present both of the above characteristics together with the most refined accuracy .
Grown in a multicultural and bilingual family equally distributed between the United Kingdom and Italy, I lived, studied and worked in both countries. I supply continuous language support to several commercial and private customers. Since 2011 I am an active member of Ecococcole, nonprofits association for social development and support concerned with the natural and eco/friendly upbringing of children. Since 2012 I volunteer as peer counsellor for the breastfeeding support group of the local women's health clinic of the national health service and I provide pro bono translation services for the Movimento Allattamento Materno Italiano (Italian breastfeeding movement).
