Bio
I am a graduate of TESOL and Japanese language and also have a master's in Specialised Translation. During my time at university, I have had the opportunity to learn many different skills and look forward to bringing these to a work environment. I have developed a passion for English linguistics along with a desire to translate full-time. I have studied Japanese for ten years now and have achieved the N2 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test with aims to pass the N1 in December.
During my university career, I have volunteered with translation projects and always delivered to a high standard. Due to this, I have translated for the Kobe Municipal Museum and Art Gallery in Japan as well as for Nagoya University. The Kobe Municipal Museum were using my translations in their exhibition. They were also using a pamphlet I helped create to help museum staff converse with foreign visitors.
Not only have I had experience translating for companies I also enjoy to do this in my free-time. I love to read and believe that there is always something to learn from a good book.
I look forward to working with you on future projects.
