You are to assume the role of a graduate trainee working at a high street branch of Ransdorf bank, a well-established global financial services provider. As part of your traineeship you undertake placements in different departments/branches of the bank. You are currently working in the role of Assistant Customer Relationship Manager in the Heppen branch. You have been in this role for one month, helping to look after all aspects of customer service for personal customers of the branch. You expect to be here for another three months. The exercise will involve you preparing for, and holding, a meeting with Jay Muller, a customer who has been banking with Ransdorf for eight years. Jay Muller will be played by a role player (be prepared for the role player to be male or female). TASK You have 30 minutes to study the information overleaf and plan for your meeting with Jay Muller. You may annotate these instructions and/or write notes in preparation if you wish.
