Professional objectives
  • Meet new end/direct clients
  • Meet new translation company clients
  • Get help with terminology and resources
  • Learn more about translation / improve my skills

Translating has always been the most important activity when dealing with foreign cultures. Making sure you are understood, making sure you understand the other side, all of that is no easy task. It must be handled by a sensitive person, who can deal with the little differences, the dilemmas, all of the intricacies of each language. This is why a good translator is not only someone who speaks both languages, but someone who studied and is extremely aware of each language's social and cultural characteristics.

So, do you need a file, an article, text or reported translated from or to Brazilian Portuguese? I will be glad to help you be understood.

I am a freelance English to Portuguese translator specialized in the medical and pharmaceutical fields! Having done a translation and proofreading internship at a medical translations agency I can safely say I am aware of its language and fully capable of searching new terms and learning new terminology. The learning never stops!

I can also do translations on various fields including, but not limited to, biology, history, sociology, arts and my specialty as a student, literature.

I am associated with the UK Society of Authors, and I will soon start publishing original stories on the web. You find my SoA profile here:

I also am associated with ABRATES, the Brazilian Translators and Interpreters Association. You will find my ABRATES profile here, though it's written in Portuguese only:
