Definiciones generales
1. A los efectos de este Convenio, a menos que de su contexto se infiera una interpretación diferente:
a) las expresiones "un Estado Contratante" y "el otro Estado Contratante" significan, según lo requiera el contexto, la República de Chile o la República del Paraguay; en adelante Chile o Paraguay, respectivamente;
b) el término "persona" comprende las personas físicas o naturales, las sociedades y cualquier otra agrupación de personas;
c) el término "sociedad" significa cualquier persona jurídica o cualquier entidad que se considere persona jurídica a efectos impositivos;
d) las expresiones "empresa de un Estado Contratante" y "empresa del otro Estado Contratante" significan, respectivamente, una empresa explotada por un residente de un Estado Contratante y una empresa explotada por un residente del otro Estado Contratante;
e) la expresión "tráfico internacional" significa todo transporte efectuado por un buque, aeronave o por un vehículo de transporte terrestre explotado por una empresa de un Estado Contratante, salvo cuando dicho transporte se realice exclusivamente entre dos puntos situados en el otro Estado Contratante;
f) la expresión "autoridad competente" significa:
(i) en Chile, el Ministro de Hacienda o su representante autorizado;

g) el término "nacional" significa:
(i) cualquier persona física o natural que posea la nacionalidad de un Estado Contratante; o
(ii) cualquier persona jurídica o asociación constituida conforme a la legislación vigente de un Estado Contratante.
2. Para la aplicación del Convenio por un Estado Contratante, en cualquier momento, cualquier expresión no definida en el mismo tendrá, a menos que de su contexto se infiera una interpretación diferente, el significado que, en ese momento, le atribuya la legislación de ese Estado relativa a los impuestos que son objeto del Convenio, prevaleciendo el significado atribuido por la legislación impositiva sobre el que resultaría de otras ramas del Derecho de ese Estado.

General Definitions
1. For the purposes of this Convention, unless the context otherwise requires:

f) The term "competent authority" means:
(i) In Chile, the Minister of Finance or their authorised representative;
(ii) In Paraguay, the Minister of Finance or their authorised representative;
g) The term “national” means:
(i) Any individual possessing the nationality of a Contracting State; or
(ii) Any legal person, or entity established under the laws in force in a Contracting State.
2. As regards the implementation of the Convention by a Contracting State, at any given time, any term otherwise not defined therein shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the meaning that, at that given time, it has under the laws of that Contracting State relating to the taxes which are the subject of the Convention, the meaning attributed to that term by the tax laws of that State prevailing over the meaning attributed to the term by other laws of that State.

Enséñale sumisión
Este es uno de los pasos primordiales en el adiestramiento de cualquier perro. Ya te hemos comentado en muchas ocasiones que los perros necesitan un líder, y que si no lo tienen, ellos mismos adoptarán el papel poniéndote bajo ellos.
Debes enseñarle con cariño pero con firmeza y hacerle ver cuál es el papel que cumple en la familia. No solo debe verte a ti como a su líder, sino que tiene que aceptar que todos los miembros del núcleo familiar son superiores a él y, por tanto, tiene que obedecerles también.
Para conseguirlo, todos los miembros de la casa deberéis estar de acuerdo en las normas que el animal debe seguir, pues de lo contrario podríais desequilibrarlo. Una forma de lograr que acepte su papel como mascota en el hogar es no permitiendo que cruce la puerta antes que vosotros, deberá comer cuando vosotros lo hayáis hecho, tendrá su sitio en el que descansar y saldrá a la calle en los horarios marcados.
Ejercicio
Los perros de gran tamaño necesitan dosis mayores de ejercicio que otras. El pastor alemán, en particular, requiere canalizar la energía de la que dispone y paliar su aburrimiento. Si no se ejercita lo suficiente podría llegar a presentar actitudes destructivas y agresivas.
Educación del pastor alemán
Por otro lado, el ejercicio le ayudará a estar sano, pues pondrá en marcha su riego sanguíneo, fortalecerá sus músculos y articulaciones, y mantendrá fuertes sus huesos.
Socialízalo
Socializar con otros perros y otras personas será un paso vital si quieres tener un perro amable y que se relacione de forma tranquila con otros. Una de las características de los perros esta raza es su seguridad sobre sí mismos, lo cual puede llevarlos a creerse superiores a otros y tratarlos de forma agresiva.
Si en algún momento ves un ápice de esta actitud en tu mascota, córtala de raíz, pues además de que lo convertirá en un perro antisocial, te podría traer muchos quebraderos de cabeza.

Es cierto que el pastor alemán es un perro muy inteligente, pero eso no quiere decir que pueda aprender 10 órdenes a la vez para una misma cosa. Antes de enseñarle, piensa muy bien qué es lo que quieres de él, y dónde y cómo quieres que lo hagas.
No cambies las órdenes ni las rutinas cada dos por tres o lo volverás loco y no conseguirás el objetivo deseado, la obediencia en este caso.
Usa el refuerzo positivo
Esta raza es ideal para enseñarle órdenes como sentarse, coger o soltar algo, tumbarse, dar vueltas, dar la pata o incluso traerte las zapatillas. Claro, a pesar de su inteligencia, un adiestramiento de este tipo requerirá tiempo y paciencia. Nunca le grites, y ni mucho menos lo golpees, pues lo único que conseguirás será que el animal te tenga miedo.
Por el contrario, prémialo cuando haga algo bien y no te fijes solo en lo que no ha conseguido. El refuerzo positivo siempre funciona, y en el caso del pastor alemán no lo es menos.
Ya ves que no es tan difícil el adiestramiento del pastor alemán. Si te decides a adoptar uno, tendrás una mascota increíble que te sorprenderá día a día y alguien muy especial con quien compartir tu vida.

German Shepherds are very intelligent dogs, but this doesn’t mean that they can learn 10 commands at the same time and all for the same thing. Before training a German Shepherd, think very carefully about what, there, and how you want them to do something.

But despite being very intelligent, training a German Shepherd requires time and patience. Never shout at them and definitely never hit them. The only thing you’ll manage to do is scare them.
Instead, reward them when they do well and don’t only focus on the times when they don’t do something. Positive reinforcement always works and this is no less the case with the German Shepherd.
