Bio
My schooling was bilingual Spanish/German. My education in four cultures, Mexican, German, Anglo-Saxon and African American. I have a master’s degree in teaching English from an American university and coursework in Spanish. I am an accomplished chemist with a Ph.D.. I have worked as an “unofficial” translator most of my professional life.

The rules that govern my translation are:

My translation does not attempt to replicate the interpersonal functions of speech/writing. It fulfills the function of the kind of language behavior of that speech/writing.
The formulation of an expression in the same or any other language builds a different identity.
Translation, more than speech itself, provides the capacity of thought and its communication.

I target the English/Spanish, German/ English and German/Spanish markets, and prefer technical, scientific, medical, headlines, news articles, commentaries, and title making genres.
