Bio

I’m a native speaker of U.S.
English who has studied the Russian language for almost a decade. I hold
a Graduate Certificate in Translation Studies and a Master’s degree in
Russian from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before
becoming a full-time translator, I taught both Russian language and
English writing courses at the college and high-school levels.

I specialize in localization and technology, with an emphasis on localizing video games, mobile apps, websites, and software. I
also have a passion for translating texts in the fields of education, arts
and culture, travel, food, and music. My other services include
English-language editing and proofreading and terminology research
services. In my free time, I enjoy translating Russian fiction and
poetry.
