Bio

Certified court interpreter with formal education in translation.

I approach each translation project with the same deep passion and dedication that I approach an interpretation assignment. Research into topics, both known and unknown, relating to an assignment assures a final product that is thorough, faithful to the original, and that a new audience will have no issue in understanding. My client's satisfaction is very important to me.

Attaining ATA certification for my working languages is my next goal, as I have already met my previous goal of receiving formal education in the field of translation. The training I continue to receive has covered, amongst other things, translation procedures, methods, and proper techniques that help reach the ultimate goal of a natural-sounding document in the target language. My education also covered translation rules and expectations for a number of different types of texts including technical, consumer-oriented, socio-economic and literary.

I have also participated in the translation of financial documents, contracts, deposition transcripts, asylum declarations, and medical texts.

To keep my language skills and knowledge at the highest, most up to date level, I continuously read a wide range of topics; always on the lookout for any new vocabulary and updated grammar rules.

I look forward to working with you, delivering a final product that reflects my pride and devotion to language as well as my clients.
