Rachel Corke graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class honours degree in German and went on to qualify with an MA in Translation Studies from Durham University, where she specialised in German to English translation. Rachel has been working as a freelance translator for a number of years and has gained experience across several subject areas and text types. She is committed to providing high quality, purpose-oriented texts with exceptional attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines. Rachel is an affiliate member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and is part of the ITI German Network and the Yorkshire Translators and Interpreters regional group. She undertakes regular CPD to consolidate and enhance her skills, including attending workshops and webinars. Outside of work, her interests include exploring the great outdoors, being creative, reading and drinking tea.
