SHORT TITLE: Safety and Immunogenicity of a Single Dose of the XXXXXXXXXXXX Vaccine.
XXXXXXXXXXXX, M.D., and the people working with him are doing a research study sponsored by XXXXXXXXXXXX. You are being asked to allow your child to be in this research study to test a vaccine to prevent Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) illness in infants.
You are being asked to allow your child to be in this study because your child is at least 6 months (180 days) old and less than 25 months (750 days) old and has not had an infection or illness caused by RSV, and is generally healthy.
This is a consent form. It gives you information about the study and what you and your child are being asked to do. The study staff will talk to you about this information. You are free to ask questions at any time.
If you decide to allow your child to be in this study, you will be asked to sign this consent form and will be given a copy of it to keep.
This study is being done to look at the safety (side effects) and antibody (cells in your body that fight germs) response of infants to a single dose of a vaccine against RSV.
The study will measure the amount of virus that sheds (come off of) from each child receiving the vaccine. It will tell the researchers how stable and strong the vaccine remained during the study. This research study is testing an experimental vaccine.
Experimental means that this vaccine has not yet been licensed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the government group in charge of monitoring the safety of food and medicine. RSV is a virus that can cause breathing problems in infants and children.

Le solicitamos que permita que su hijo participe en este estudio de investigación para probar una vacuna para la prevención de la enfermedad causada por el virus sincicial respiratorio (VSR) en infantes.

Source text - English Artificial intelligence first appeared in a digital game in 1979, when the developers of Pac-Man used a technique known as a state machine (transitioning between states depending on conditions) to control whether or not a ghost ran towards or away from a player.
The AI in most modern digital games builds on this simple approach. As the game-based story unfolds, autonomous non-player characters (agents) take information from both the game and the player and, based on that information, use AI algorithms to determine the most appropriate actions to take.
Virtual reality for learning works in a similar way. It provides authentic immersive experiences (the subjective impression that one is participating in a realistic experience) that simulate some aspect of the real world to which the user would not otherwise have access (such as dangerous environments or somewhere geographically or historically inaccessible).
Research has shown that giving opportunities for students to explore, interact with, and manipulate aspects of a simulated world, perhaps investigating ‘what if’ scenarios, (such as, ‘what if there is a drought?’), enables them to transfer what they have learned to the real world.
For example, a virtual submarine might allow the user to shrink to a microscopic level to investigate natural processes that occur under the surface of a rock pool, or the student might be able to explore a nuclear power plant, Ancient Rome or the outer planets.
Virtual reality becomes ‘intelligent’ when it is augmented with artificial intelligence. AI might be used simply to enhance the virtual world, giving it the ability to interact with and respond to the user’s actions in ways that feel more natural.
Or, drawing on Intelligent Tutoring Systems, AI might also be integrated to provide on-going intelligent support and guidance to ensure that the learner engages properly with the intended learning objectives without becoming confused or overwhelmed.
Translation - Spanish La inteligencia artificial (IA) apareció por primera vez en 1979 en un juego digital cuando los desarrolladores de Pac-Man utilizaron una técnica conocida como máquina de estados (transición entre los estados según las condiciones) para hacer que un fantasma corriera hacia el jugador o en sentido contrario a este.
La IA contenida en la mayoría de los juegos digitales modernos se basa en este sencillo enfoque. A medida que la historia del juego se desarrolla, los personajes que no son jugadores autónomos (agentes) tienen información tanto del juego como del jugador y, basándose en esa información, usan algoritmos de IA para determinar cuáles son las acciones más apropiadas que deben realizar.

Por ejemplo, un submarino virtual puede permitirle al usuario encogerse a un nivel microscópico para investigar los procesos naturales que ocurren bajo la superficie de una poza de marea o el estudiante podría ser capaz de explorar una planta nuclear, la Antigua Roma o los planetas exteriores.
La realidad virtual se hace "inteligente" cuando se amplía con inteligencia artificial. La IA se podría utilizar simplemente para mejorar el mundo virtual, pues le puede proporcionar la habilidad de interactuar y responder a las acciones del usuario en formas que se sientan más naturales.
O bien, basándonos en los Sistemas de Tutoría Inteligentes, la IA también podría integrarse para proporcionar soporte y orientación inteligente continua a fin de garantizar que el estudiante se involucre de forma adecuada con los objetivos de aprendizaje previstos sin confundirse ni abrumarse.
