I am a young Italian translator with a mixed academic background and work experience currently living and working in Switzerland. I have completed my university studies with a Master Degree in International Relations in 2013 and since then I have been working in several fields. Among them, I had the chance to work at FAO Headquarters in Rome and at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while still completing my studies. Since 2009, I have also been working with some private clients providing high-quality translations but focusing more on other types of job. Today, my experience with communications and public information, academic writing and development of target-audience materials make my profile flexible and suitable for a wide range of duties and responsibilities within the translation world. The direct experience with environment and development-related organizations, FAO in particular, gave me technical knowledge on some of their main sectors of action, while travelling, studying abroad and working in multicultural environments improved my communication skills. I started this new experience as a freelance translator at Proz.com willing to do my best to provide my future clients with the high-quality services of a valid and enthusiastic young professional.
