My name is Katarina Szikelova, I am a freelance translator, and I am native speaker of Slovak and fluent in Hungarian. I graduated in law from Trnava University (Slovakia).
I currently live in Italy; here I worked in a law firm as trainee lawyer.
I can translate different fields. I am specialist in legal and in technical (mechanic) translations.
In my translation work I use:
• Professional experience gained in Slovakia and in Italy,
• Theoretical and practical experience of both law system (Slovak and Italian) acquired during my professional experience; consequently I completely understand the meaning of the text I have to translate and I use the right technical words.
In 2013 I signed two different contracts with the European Court of Justice and I became external translator for the Court for Slovak and translation into Italian.
I am registered in the official register of experts, interpreters and translators kept by the Ministry of Justice of Slovak Republic.
I have an extensive experience acquired through working with an important Italian factory. My experience has developed through technical translation of user manuals, technical documents, security charts, security rules etc.
