I am a native English speaker and a fluent speaker of Spanish, having lived and worked in Spain for the last 14 years.

I hold a BSc Honours degree in Computing Science and have a long background in the IT industry. In the UK, I worked for 10 years as a multimedia software and website developer in the education sector.

After moving to Spain, I worked for 12 years as senior developer for a company dedicated to commercial website development. I also worked as a translator of web content from Spanish to English and on website localisation both from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish. Through my IT work, I have many years' experience of writing technical documentation in both English and Spanish.

For the last couple of years, I have worked as a freelance translator, principally on Spanish to English translations but also on website localisation from English to Spanish.

I am a certified Spanish to English translator with one of the largest online translation service providers where I work on mostly non-specialist projects such as e-mails, letters, certificates, press releases etc.
