Die intrakraniellen Gefäße konnten wegen unzureichenden Knochenfensters monografisch nicht untersucht werden. Sekundärprophylaktisch ist [Patient] auf eine Thrombozyten-Aggregationshemmung mit ASS und aufgrund einer leichtgradigen Makroangiopathie auf eine Plaquestabilisierung mit Simvastin eingestellt.
Translation - English The cause of the acute unilateral symptoms occurring on the left side on the evening of [date] was a right-sided cerebral infarction near the putamen and the caudate nucleus including the corona radiata. In the clinical investigation of causes, consisting of an EKG, 24 hour EKG, transthoracic echocardiography and Doppler and duplex sonography of the extracranial vessels, there were no indications of cardiac sources of embolism and no relevant vascular stenosis. The intracranial vessels could not be examined sonographically due to insufficient bone windows. As a secondary prophylaxis, [patient] was put on a platelet aggregation inhibitor with aspirin and – because of mild atherosclerosis – on a plaque stabilization treatment with Simvastin.
