I started my career as literary translator and editor for Sul Romanzo: I was also in charge of the weekly update of foreign literary news (which I had to select and present to the Italian readership).
Every month, I had also to select an unpublished piece of writing for the webzine. The campaign that proved to be the most successful involved the translation of two short stories by Nic Pizzolattoto be published while the HBO series "True Detective" started to gain market in Italy.
Since then, I worked as transcreator, mainly for the touristic industry, but also for broader marketing campaigns. For example, my expertise allowed me to be chosen by Ryanairto transcreate their travel blog. I work also for Kiwi.com in the localization project of their website, as well as trancreating their marketing campaigns. I've never really left the artistic field during this time: I'm also part of the localization team of Google Arts, being in charge of translating their blog posts. Recently I've been also nominated Lead Linguist for the Amazon AWS project with Translated.com: I translate their blog posts and coordinate the rest of the team, assuring that all the style guides, glossaries and guidelines have been followed.
My experience gained in editorial teams, the various collaborations with agencies and big clients made me an experienced linguist: a bold and effective communicator committed to accuracy.
At the moment I'm trying to specialize in the field of audiovisual translation for movies and media. While taking care of my customers and assuring continuity in my business, I committed myself in doing anything possible to get closer to this specific field of the translation universe, so to make use of all my creativity and my innate passion for fiction with a more literary, creative language.
