I’m an English-Portuguese (Br) and French-Portuguese (Br) translator. Experienced with in-house translations for a translation agencie. Nowadays I’m a full time freelancer translator.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the Medical School 'Santa Casa' of Sao Paulo. As a nurse, I’ve worked in the clinical-surgical unit, the intensive care unit and alongside the infectology emergency room until 2012.

I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages (Portuguese and French) from the University of Sao Paulo. During graduation I became interested in translations studies, I developed a research involving several translations and authors from the Quebec fantastic genre of literature.

During six months I lived in Montreal, QC, as part of an exchange program, where I pursued a broader understanding of both English and French languages.

More recently, I have accomplished a complementary course at "Casa Guilherme de Almeida", an important center for translations studies in the city of Sao Paulo, that aimed my proficiency as a literary translator.
