Bio
I trained as an actress in Germany and graduated with a diploma in Drama in 2005. I have been performing as an actress on international stages since then.

Working closely with (often translated) theatre scripts I developed an interest in the field of translation, so alongside my acting work I studied at London City University, first gaining a Postgrad Certificate in Principles and Practice of Translation. Then, in summer 2014, I graduated with an MA in Translating Popular Culture (distinction).

I specialise in the translation of dialogue, e.g. stage plays, film scripts, subtitles and voice over as well as genre literature such as children's books, fantasy, crime, comics and any other creative text.

Coming from a theatre and film background, I am an expert in German and English 'script terminology'.

I also translate websites, most recently for The English Bedstore and Five Lions Whisky, which included adverts and product descriptions.
