I have now more than twelve years of professional experience translating, proofreading and technical proofreading fiction and non-fiction books in areas such as Psychoanalysis, Biology, Medicine, History, Art, Music, Philosophy, Economics, Finance etc (English/Portuguese and Portuguese/English as well as French/Portuguese). I also translated and elaborated business reports and catalogs for American companies, participated in seminars and symposiums as translator and organizer (Câmara de Comércio Brasil - Estados Unidos (1980’s).
I have also experience in subtitling for television, DVDs and commercial videos (English/Portuguese and Portuguese/English as well as French Portuguese). I have worked eight years in publishing as a member of a team of which I have been the leader for two years now at a psychoanalytical institution in Brazil (Escola Letra Freudiana). I have written papers on Psychoanalysis, Biomedicine and Translation. I Postgraduated in English / Portuguese Translation at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.
