TRANSLATION/PROOFREADING/ORIGINAL WRITING
I have worked for more than 15 years as a freelance translator of technical, scientific, and philosophical texts of several kinds, including books covering subjects ranging from philosophy of science and evolutionary biology to anthropology, ecology, and environmental science and technologies, among other disciplines.
I have also translated, proofread, and written original scientific and philosophical research papers both in Spanish and in English.

Specialties
Because of my strong background in biology, ecology, environmental science, and philosophy of science (general, biology, ecology, cognitive science, neuroscience), I specialize in the translation of texts related to different aspects of the communication of science and philosophy, for example, research articles and proposals, philosophical essays, science popularization (including books and magazine articles), meeting presentations, communications and conferences, etc.

However, some four or five years ago I started translating literary texts (tales and novels), and I enjoy very much that kind of job. Besides, I have an ever growing experience in translating, writing, and in helping authors in writing other kinds of books, such as handbooks, philosophical essays, etc.
