Source text - English Keep the operating instructions handy at the installation site of the machine at all times (in tool compartment or special container)!
Users must comply with and inform personnel of any general legal and otherwise mandatory regulations on accident prevention in addition to the operating instructions!
Where hazardous substances are being handled, such regulations may also involve the provision and wearing of personal protective gear.
Users must supplement the operating instructions with instructions on specific operating conditions as regards work organisation, work procedures or the personnel employed.
Personnel assigned to tasks on the machine must have read the operating instructions, particularly this chapter, before starting work. It will be too late after work has already begun. This particularly applies to personnel who only occasionally perform tasks on the machine, in setup and maintenance.
Check that personnel are working in a safety-conscious and hazard-conscious manner and that they are complying with the operating instructions!
Personnel may not wear long hair loose, or wear loose clothing or jewellery. These may get caught or be drawn into the machine and cause injury.
The safety and danger notices on the machine must be observed!
Keep all warning remarks on the machine in a complete and legible condition!
Instruct personnel to report changes in the machine or in its operating behaviour!

Операторы станка должны неукоснительно следовать данной инструкции! В дополнение к инструкции, необходимо довести до сведения технического персонала общие правила внутреннего распорядка и нормы техники безопасности.

The Front Porch PorchLight™ is a TCP/IP appliance that resides within a provider’s network managing content insertion for network users. Providers use the PorchLight to manage sessions for RADIUS, DHCP and static IP users so that services can be delivered at appropriate times during their Internet sessions. Services include creating a captive portal, URL redirection, and in-browser messaging and advertising to network users while they surf the Internet.
The PorchLight accommodates users regardless of their operating systems, browsers, connection speeds or client devices. The solution does not require the use of cookies or any client-side software. The PorchLight manages HTTP requests and forwards all traffic to the Internet with minimal latency and without modifying users’ IP addresses. The PorchLight can modify response packets received from web servers to insert or modify content based on services scheduled by the provider. Content can be served at login and at timed intervals as well as when subscribers surf to specific sites.
The PorchLight 5500XL extends Front Porch’s powerful suite of services to large scale national network providers and ISPs. With advanced features such as fully passive installation, the ability to network many units, and support for bandwidths up to 11 Gbps, the 5500XL truly is our flagship product.

I believe he had seen us out of the window coming off lo dine in the dinghy of a fourteen-ton yawl belonging to Marlow my host and skipper. We helped the boy we had with us to haul the boat up on the landing-stage before we went up to the riverside inn. where we found our new acquaintance eating his dinner in dignified loneliness at the head of a long table, white and inhospitable like a snow bank.
The red tint of his clear-cut face with trim short black whiskers under a cap of curly iron-grey hair was the only warm spot in the dinginess of that room cooled by the cheerless tablecloth. We knew him already by sight as the owner of a little five-ton cutter, which he sailed alone apparently, a fellow yachtsman in the unpretending band of fanatics who cruise at the mouth of the Thames. But the first time he addressed the waiter sharply as 'steward' we knew him at once for a sailor as well as a yachtsman.
Presently he had occasion to reprove that same waiter for the slovenly manner in which the dinner was served. He did it with considerable energy and then turned to us.
"If we at sea." he declared, "went about our work as people ashore high and low go about theirs we should never make a living. No one would employ us. And moreover no ship navigated and sailed in the happy-go-lucky manner people conduct their business on shore would ever arrive into port."
Since he had retired from the sea he had been astonished to discover that the educated people were not much better than the others. No one seemed to take any proper pride in his work: from plumbers who were simply thieves to say, newspaper men (he seemed to think them a specially intellectual class) who never by any chance gave a correct version of the simplest affair. This universal inefficiency of what he called "the shore gang" he ascribed in general to the want of responsibility and to a sense of security.
"They see." he went on. "that no matter what they do this tight little island won't turn turtle with them or spring a leak and go to the bottom with their wives and children."

Скорее всего, он видел нас из окна, когда мы покидали борт четырнадцатитонного яла, принадлежащего капитану Марлоу, чтобы пообедать на берегу. Мы помогли юнге пришвартовать шлюпку у пристани и направились в трактир неподалёку. Там мы и обнаружили нашего нового знакомого, обедающего в гордом одиночестве во главе стола внушительных размеров. Стол был покрыт белой скатертью, что придавало и без того негостеприимной комнате совсем угрюмый вид.
Единственным, что выделялось на этом фоне, было его лицо — розоватое, с чётко очерченным подбородком и скулами и украшающими их бакенбардами. Всё это венчала копна волос, вьющихся, словно стальные пружинки. Нам уже доводилось встречаться ранее. Он в одиночку управлял своей небольшой яхтой и был моряком до мозга костей, одним из тех, которые упорно бороздят устье Темзы, чтобы заработать на жизнь. То, что перед нами моряк, мы поняли, едва он заговорил с официантом, точнее, со стюардом, как он его называл.
В голосе его чувствовалось раздражение, которое было вызвано тем, с какой небрежностью был подан обед. Он отчитал официанта, не поскупившись на крепкие выражения, и затем, обращаясь уже к нам, добавил:

Как оказалось, никто из них не вкладывает душу в то, чем занимается: ни газетчики (которых он всегда считал особыми интеллектуалами), в жизни не писавшие ни одной правдивой статьи, ни лудильщики, которые на поверку оказались просто ворами. Это всеобщее нежелание "сухопутной братии" работать как следует он приписывал отсутствию у них чувства ответственности и ощущению того, что они в полной безопасности.
"Они понимают, что в любом случае этот островок не опрокинется вверх дном или не получит пробоину, которая отправила бы их жён и детей на корм рыбам".
