For me, translation rhymes with passion and adaptation. Passion since I've been catapulted into the colourful universe of languages from my earliest youth because of my Italian origins, and adaptation because a good translation has to take its target public into account and adapt to its culture.

I am a freelance translator and I lived for three and a half years in Milan, the city of my origins, where I followed a Master's Degree in Literary, Technical and Scientific translation.

I did an internship in the Milanese publishing house Tempo Libro Srl during two months and a half. That internship enriched me a lot since I could translate two books into Italian (Walking from H. D. Thoreau, published on March 2009 and L'Indifférent from M. Proust, published on April 2010). During that internship, I also proofread and revised foreign books and I helped to set the layout of documents.

I then worked as a trainee at the company MenCorner for six months to translate the website from French into Italian.

Since I've been a freelance translator, I have translated various documents into French including an educational syllabus, two books about astrology, a thesis about ethics as well as various agreements, e-learning courses, tourist, marketing and technical documents.

I also worked for a subtitling company from English into French as a proofreader and a translator: bonuses (Skyfall, Curse of Chucky, Thin Ice), movies (Curse of Chucky), series (Grey's Anatomy, Downton Abbey, Justified, Once Upon A Time, House of Cards, Nashville, Castle, Teen Wolf, Last Resort), making-ofs, producer comments, cartoons (Wolverine, The Simpsons), interviews, documentaries etc.

My working languages are Italian and English and I translate into French.

I would like to add that even though literary translation is the field that interests me the most, I'm also open to translate more technical documents.

I'm also a member of the ATLF (Association des Traducteurs Littéraires de France).
