Bio
I'm a Spanish/French to English translator with a Masters with merit in Professional Translating for European Languages and a First Class BA(hons) in French and Spanish. I am also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Linguistics.

I have been freelancing for nearly three years, working for various translation agencies and direct clients. The nature of the translations I do varies considerably, although I primarly work with technical documents. These range from technical specifications for installations in the oil and gas industry to mining processes to environmental impact reports (plus much more!). In addition, I often translate leisure-based texts, mainly within the area of wine tourism.

Establishing my business whilst studying really aided me in terms of organisation and time management and a two-month stint on-site at a mine in Huelva (Southern Spain) gave me valuble experience in relation to translation processes, as well as to certain specialist fields (mining, law, and health and safety in particular.
