I took my degree in Translation in 2005 (SSLIMIT, Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori, Forlì, Università di Bologna, Italy), and then I began to specialize in the field of localization (2006/2007: Master’s degree in translation and localization: Tradumatica, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain; October/December 2005: Online Postgraduate Certificate in Technical Translation and E-tools, Fundació Rovira i Virgili, Universidad de Tarragona, Spain; La Subtitulación y Sus Herramientas, Trágora Formación, Granada, Spain; Video-games Localization, Trágora Formación, Granada, Spain), which nowadays represents my field of specialization.
Over the years, I contributed to the CLDR project (http://cldr.unicode.org/index/acknowledgments) and I collaborated to the curation/lemmatization of a built-in dictionary for autocorrect and predictive typing as the Italian linguistic lead.
Since 2007, I have been translating Apple software, manuals and on-line helps, among others.
Italian is my mother tongue and my language pairs are EN>IT, ES>IT and CAT>IT.
