Professional practices Marzia Bondoli endorses's Professional Guidelines (v1.1).

I am a native speaker of both Italian and Spanish. I was born in Italy but my mother is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been raised speaking Spanish, Italian of course, and learning Argentinian culture.

For some reason I fell in love with Brazilian music and started to get really curious about Brazil. My interest brought me to study Brazilian Portuguese and literature at the University of Bologna -Italy. I shared my deep love for Portuguese with the one for Anglo-American language and culture, my second language at the University.
For my graduation thesis I've been to Brazil searching for documentation in Universities, Cultural Foundations thus getting in touch with professors and intellectuals involved in brazilian culture.

I have travelled a lot in order to improve languages and to have job experiences abroad. That's why, a few years after graduating, I've been living in Brazil for a short while where I've worked in the Italian Embassy. There I had the chance to meet people from Brazil asking for documents or italian courses and where I could translate from portuguese to italian several documents.

As you can see my job experience is quite varied: I've been working in translation from English to Italian and from Portuguese to Italian since I left University subtitling Brazilian films and English docs, technical documentation, mostly oil and gas industry and mechanical ISO9001 manuals; I had experience as a translator, proofreading and editing in Diabasis, a publishing house in Italy.

I gather both literary and technical knowledge in my job as a translator together with accuracy and precision.
