I was born in La Paz, Bolivia, so my mother tongue is Spanish. My father did his medical practice in the USA where I was raised in Chicago and Michigan and did my elementary and middle school. That's why I consider English my mother tongue too. I finished my high school in La Paz, Bolivia, in a bilingual school. After finishing school, I went to Buenos Aires, Argentina and started medical school where I did two years and due to health issues decided to change and graduate in Analytical Chemistry.

In 1992, I returned to Bolivia, where I started working at the Coca Cola bottling plant as Quality Control supervisor. Over the years, I've gone through most of the divisions of the company, especially in technical departments: production, maintenance, plant operations and engineering.

After leaving the bottling company (after 17 years), I opened my own business

(Technical Consulting SRL), which provided imported equipment, machinery and industrial supplies for the Bolivian industry, with which I had contacts in Europe, Asia and the US. I had the great opportunity to travel to Europe and the US for business where I trust my English for commercial communication (and when in Germany, in my intermediate level German).

I love languages. I studied German in my spare time, and I already have my "Zertifikat Deutsch als Fremdsprache", which recognizes that I can speak and understand colloquial German.

I was hired as manager of a bottling plant in Bolivia for seven years until October 2017, a job I executed with full dedication and passion.

I am working as a freelance translator in the English-Spanish pair since February 2018, especially translating pharmaceutical dossiers for a major drug importing company. These are complete dossiers covering from clinical trials, therapeutic actions, pharmacokinetics and manufacturing procedures. Eventually I work translations in the industrial, engineering, finance, and business fields.

My studies in medicine and chemistry allow me to easily translate topics related to this field. My years of industry and entrepreneurship, allow me to translate comfortably in the areas of engineering, industry and business. I currently run my own translation business.

I consider myself a dedicated and meticulous worker, and always will give my best for each job assigned.
