Il webinar si concentrerà su diversi aspetti e problemi relativi alla traduzione letteraria in generale e alla traduzione di testi poetici in particolare e sul trasferimento e l'applicazione delle conoscenze acquisite al campo delle prestazioni lavorative. Il corso si propone quindi di presentare il dibattito sugli argomenti chiave e di confrontare modelli di ricerca.

Il corso fornisce inoltre ai partecipanti consigli pratici e link utili per fare i primi passi nel mondo della traduzione letteraria e per incontrare altri traduttori al fine di condividere l'accesso alle informazioni.

Target audience
Studenti e traduttori che vogliono saperne di più sulla traduzione letteraria e che sono attratti dalla sfida di poter trasferire nella propria cultura testi letterari scritti in lingua straniera.
Learning objectives
Conoscere i vari aspetti e modelli della ricerca sulla traduzione e diventare consapevoli delle conseguenze dei diversi approcci. Identificare ciò che i diversi metodi di traduzione hanno in comune per sviluppare la propria modalità di pensiero e di espressione.

Recommendations

• For the visual section of the training course, we recommend that you have a 64kbps link. This means using an ISDN line or Broadband. Wireless connection is NOT recommended.

Bio: Emilia De Paola is an experienced language and literature teacher working in a High School (Scientific Studies) and a professional translator, member of AITI (Associazione Italiana Traduttori ed Interpreti). Since the beginning of her career she has been translating about town planning, finance, commerce, law, economics, genetics, chemistry and medicine for various job posters (University, Comune di Napoli etc.) as well as brochures and captions of findings of museums. Since 2006 she has been working on the localization of websites in English and in Italian and cooperating (translations of tourism, games, software) with agencies in Europe, in China, in the United States. Since 2007 she has been carrying out also translations of books of poetry, environmental studies, EU patents, airlines, food and drinks as well as translation of articles for publication in medical journals.

She has also experienced teaching Physics in English. As a trainer and a sworn-certified linguist she has supported students and young professionals interested in acquiring competences enabling them to live and work worldwide.

Hello,

I registered to take part of your interesting webinar Today, but I am still at work and we have some problems to solve... What happens if I miss the conference? Is it possible for me to see it again, maybe regustered?
