I have freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast time, and between then and lunch I may have a cup of coffee. Otherwise I may only take an occasional sip of water. In the evening, after dark, I prefer zero alcohol beer, which has the advantage of not getting you drunk no matter how many you have

When I’m working I drink 4 or 5 espresso coffees during the day and I always keep a bottle of water on my desk.

I don't drink when I am working.

I take breaks with coffee, coke, water or other drinks.

Mostly tea Dec 15, 2018

Morning: Strong black Tea (organically grown Assam, loose leaf)

Noon/afternoon: Green Tea (organically grown Sencha, loose leaf, at least 1 liter/day, sometimes with lemon juice, honey and cayenne pepper)

If I need to work after 8 pm, I'll drink a double Espresso.

If I misjudged my workload to such an extent that I have to work way into the night, I'll resort to Mate (out of a traditional calabash gourd).

water+ Dec 15, 2018

It's fancy so many educated people forget about rational compensating a monotonous diet, let alone most drinks and juices are not for 100% water absorption, eventually causing... dehydration. Furthermore, coffee and some teas are but mild-to-moderate diuretic, whereas soft drinks contain much sugar and many additives to make people feel even more thirsty.

Anyway, while translation and interpreting I regularly drink mineral water.

I start the day with tea and take one or two tea breaks during the day, but keep a glass of water on my desk while I'm working.

Coffee, Water, And Wine Dec 15, 2018

Depending on where I am working...

At coffee houses and restaurants, I drink coffee and water while I work.

If I've been working at home all morning, I drink a goblet of sweet concord grape wine with lunch to re-energize, so I can get back to work right then and there.

Morning coffee and afternoon tea. Dec 15, 2018

I am English, after all. However, I mostly drink decaf, otherwise I end up with a headache. I'm also a recent convert to peppermint tea.
