Adding files to existing translation package?! (OmegaT/Okapi Rainbow)

Hi, I have an ongoing project where the client is delivering source-language files in several batches a few weeks apart, with delivery of all translations at the end of the project.

My current workflow is to create an OmegaT translation package in Okapi Rainbow and work from that. The problem is when I get new files I can't just add them to the OmegaT project because when I go to output the finished files in Rainbow at the end, it will only output the files I originally added.

Does anyone know of a method for adding those new files into my OmegaT project THROUGH Rainbow without ending up with 10 packages at the end to manually merge?

How it is now:
Batch 1 --> Rainbow --> Pack1
Batch 2 --> Rainbow --> Pack2 (2 weeks later)
Batch 3 --> Rainbow --> Pack3 (4 weeks later)
.
Pack1,Pack2,Pack3 --> Rainbow --> Batch1, Batch2, Batch3 + glossary1, glossary2, glossary3 + TM1, TM2, TM3 --> COPY/PASTE/MANUAL PROCESSING --> Batch123 + glossary123 + TM123

What I would prefer:
Batch 1 --> Pack1
Batch 2 --> Pack12 (2 weeks later)
Batch 3 --> Pack123 (4 weeks later)
.
Pack123 --> Rainbow --> Batch123 + glossary123 + TM123

This way I would be able to output all of my files together and not have to worry about merging the glossaries and TMs. As this is a pretty large project (700,000+ words) doing this manually would be a real burden.

If this isn't included in the functionality of Rainbow, fair enough, I just don't know if it can do this.

In such circumstances, instead of working *inside* Batch 1, 2, etc., I create an OmegaT project (e.g., WorkProject), and copy/paste /source and /tm from Batch x to WorkProject.

In OmegaT, you don't have to merge TMs and glossaries if you don't want to. You can have an unlimited number of files in /tm and /glossary.

As this is a pretty large project (700,000+ words) doing this manually would be a real burden.

That's actually very helpful. Of course it would be more ideal to have a unified TM, but if it's not necessary it's one thing I needn't worry about.

Thanks for the link I'll ask those folks for more info. I know a lot of people use these tools together which is why I asked here.

(edit) -- so after a little thought and experimenting I've found a way to do this. It doesn't seem like you can just add new files, you have to add all the old file back in. Basically add all the files from previous batches along with the new batch into Rainbow --> output with all the same parameters are the original Translation Kit --> click "Yes" at the prompt to merge the new Translation Kit with the old. Since omegat doesn't write to the source files, all it sees are new files to translate. This is a little dangerous though since if you choose "No" it will wipe out everything you have in the current project. I think it's prudent to output to a different directory first and manually move mainfest.rkm and /original and /source just to be safe.
