rajesh_msen wrote: 1.Export the .xlf file to .doc format You need to open the XLF file in a plaintext editor, e.g. Akelpad, and then select all text, and copy and paste it into Microsoft Word, and save it as a DOC file. It will then be in DOC format... although I'm not sure if that is what you want. 2.Import the .doc format OmegaT can translate DOCX, but not DOC. 3.Import the .doc format and export to .xlf OmegaT can translate DOCX, but not DOC. Furthermore, OmegaT can't export the translatable content of a DOCX file to XLF format. Say, why do you want to turn your DOC file into an XLF file? What do you intend to do with the XLF file after you've converted it from DOC? | | |

Please suggest me. 1.Export the .xlf file to .doc format Only the tool that created the .xlf file can do it. Okapi Rainbow can generate a translated .docx (not .doc) file from a translated .xlf file it created. 2.Import the .doc format Okapi Rainbow can only work with .docx files, not .doc. 3.Import the .doc format and export to .xlf Okapi Rainbow can do this for .docx files (not .doc).
