I can't believe the images I'm seeing on the news from Japan.
My thoughts go out to everyone there.

Go Japan! Mar 11, 2011

I have some very good and old Japanese friends and I know they will not feel defeated by this or by any other circumstance. I feel sorry for the people who have lost their lives and property in the event. All my best wishes to the Japanese people in general!

My second hometown Mar 11, 2011

Although I spent only a few nights in Miyagi, the news is too terrible to imagine.

Looking at the TV Screen without a word to say Mar 11, 2011

I'm just looking it on TV....I have really any words about it. It's simply tragic. My thoughts are with those people there.

Sorrow Mar 11, 2011

I feel sorrow for the working class and the poor of the Pacific peoples who always are the first to face nature reactions.

News from Tokyo Mar 11, 2011

A friend from Tokyo reports that the city is generally OK and that the underground is slowly opening up again. She preferred to walk home as traffic was a mess.

In memoriam
I just heard on TV Mar 11, 2011

that Japan had their 60th (!) aftershock.
I started watching the news coverage at 1 am Pazific time when our TV program was interrupted by tsunami warnings for our coast. The footage from Japan made my stomach turn, I have never seen anything like it.

It's extremely sad, indeed... Mar 11, 2011

I've been trying to focus on my daily routine, but most of my thoughts are about the area of the breaking news. I believe it concerns all of us, not only citizens of Japan.
