In order to win back their dwindeling clientele, companies might decide to go for better quality?? While the language aspect of a game only comes in at the later stages of the game, it does (for some games at least) define a large part of the playability (or at least the gamer's understanding) of the game...

... it's not like saving a few bucks on translation is going to same them, while spendig a few more, might add to the appeal of the game...

That's how it should be, and if I were to win the lottery I would surely invest in this market the way you suggest.
Unfortunately at the moment also huge MMMORPGs producers seem to focus on making a profit out of initial subscriptions rather than focusing on quality and playability over time (e.g. Star Trek).
It's a sad story, I'll go back to dream mode as well.
