Bonjour,


Un de mes clients (anglais) vient de m'envoyer un message me demandant si je faisais d ela localisation???!!! J'ai cherché un peu sur internet mais ce n'est toujours pas trés clair...Si quelqu'un peut me donner de plus amples renseignements et combien est-ce rémunéré par rapport à la traduction.

By localisation, XXXX understands a post-translation stage, aimed at adapting a product or message for specific countries, regions, groups. The main purpose of a localisation task would be to account for differences in distinct markets and, therefore, it involves a comprehensive study of the target culture in order to correctly adapt the product or message.
Do you translate into any variation of your native language?
If you do offer this service, could you give us an indication of your rates per hour?"

(Sorry in English):

If you provide good translations, you do not only translate what it reads, but you tranfer the meaning of what they want to so to your language for the audience they have in mind (so, long phrases with beautifull descriptions of the wonders of nature, might turn into short phrases with less poetic descriptions if they audience is "used to" reading that type of information in your country......

Pourriez-vous me dire comment est facturée la localisation? A l'heure? Au mot? sur quelle base? A partir du tarif traduction?Relecture?
