Source text - Spanish 2.1.

2.2. Basic Knowledge
PROJECT DEFINITION
The project definition is the binding frame of all organizational elements in a project. The start and finish dates that are not binding for the project may also be defined.
When a Work Breakdown Structure is created, the corresponding project definition is created automatically.
The proposed values for a project, such as the settlement instruction, may be updated in the project definition. The proposed values are copied in the new WBS elements, created for such project.
PROJECT PROFILE
It is necessary to have a project profile for creating a Work Breakdown Structure.
The project profile contains proposed values and parameters to manage the project, such as the settlement profile, the scheduling as per factory calendar or the customizing for graphics.
The project profile values may be updated in the Customizing of the Project System.
When creating a work breakdown structure, a project profile must be entered in the project definition. When working in the plan of the project structure, the proposed values of the project profile can be modified.

Experience
Years of experience: 25. Registered at ProZ.com: Oct 2008.
I specialise in wine-making, tourism, SAP, CATIA and software translations in general. I have done translation and editing jobs for wineries such as Don Bosco, Adrover, Cuevas del Puma, etc.
At present, I'm involved in a winery project called Cumbre de los Andes. I'm responsible for all texts in English and Spanish (web texts, label texts, etc), and I also translate texts for inflight brochures.
I've worked for SAP Ireland, and for Rand WorldWide (IBM Business Parnter/ Dassault Systemes). My job at Rand involved translation, proofreading and edition of technical manuals (CATIA software) from English into Spanish.
