Bio
My main working fields are higher education in Germany and IT/Computer Science (IT projects in the public sector, IT security, IT in healthcare, e-learning). I also specialize in scientific and technical press releases.

I understand the importance of quality, efficient translation processes, confidentiality and endorse the professional requirements of the BDÜ (the professional association of interpreters and translators in Germany
).

I am particularly interested in translation technology and would be pleased to share ideas with developers or translators working on project management, terminology management or translation management systems or answer questions from translators in using these tools efficiently. Much progress has been made towards making translate5 (www.translate5.net) a powerful open source translation management system and I am proud to have pledged my support to the project.

I look forward to working with you.
All the best,
Daniel
