Formerly a French lecturer in higher education, I have been a freelance translator for two and a half years, after completing an MA in translation at the University of Westminster in 2008. I trade under the name Stylus Translation. You can visit my website at:www.stylustranslation.co.uk

I translate a wide range of documents in the following areas: legal, economics, international development, and global health.

My regular clients include the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Overseas Development Institute, the Metropolitan Police and various translation/corporate communication agencies.

I teach translation skills at University College London and regularly translate academic/research papers for UCL departments.

I use Wordfast and can translate 2000-3000 words per day.
