I have an Associate of Arts degree in Russian from the Defense Language Institute, a Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies from American Military University, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Russian and East European Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington. After graduating from the Defense Language Institute, I returned to work as a language instructor for a year and a half. During my career as a military linguist I performed several ad-hoc interpreting missions and provided translation support.
My interests vary, but are typically aligned with my academic pursuits: Political Science, History, Intelligence Studies, Military and Technology, and Geology. My experience translating falls within those fields as well.
