I am a translator, a reviewer and a writer. I offer my services from English and German into Spanish. I am currently looking for new ventures in the field of video games, hopefully helping out smaller developers who are interested in bridging the gap towards internationalization.

I started out my career in the media industry as a journalist and screenwriter, but in 2007 I discovered the (fascinating) world of games localization when I joined Nintendo of Europe as a tester. Later on I became a translator, and I have never looked back!

I joined Alpha CRC in 2010 as the lead linguist of a team dedicated to handling all doc and marketing contents of Avid Technology, Inc., the company behind Media Composer, Pro Tools and other video and audio solutions. Then I moved on to work as a translator/reviewer in the Games Division, where we handle a wide array of genres - from MMORPGs to card games.

Coincidentally, as a freelancer, I have translated games, websites, print and video commercials, software apps, environmental reports, travel brochures and professionally-published literary fiction (as a button, you may check the anthology of short stories Getting Bi or my titles in the Books Beyond Words series for intellectually disabled people).

I am known for being proactive, creative, detail-oriented, and working hard to meet tight deadlines. I am naturally curious and a quick learner - something that has proved to be very helpful in hectic environments. Also, my experience managing websites, blogs and online content is an asset for any web-related projects.
