Bio
Although I was born in Slovakia, completed elementary and secondary school here and both of my parents are Slovak I'm studying Translating and Interpreting studies at Istanbul University. At the university I translate mainly from German to Turkish in fields such as economy, medicine, EU etc. As for my professional life, I translate for one company working int he field of real estate from Turkish to English. In addition I have translated various texts from/to English/Slovak and I wish to translate more in/from my native language, Slovak.
As a (future) translator I pay attention to client's expectations from the translation, the expected function(s) of it and target group. I think that the better the translator is, the higher his/her ability to solve a translation problem caused by the different culture is.
My dream is to translate a book which would not be just readable but really enjoyable.
