I have been working as a translator for private clients and translation agencies in Italy and abroad since 2004. My translation studies at the university and my work experience polished my skills in tackling different types of translation in various sectors, from economics to finance, marketing and engineering, although my favourite areas of translation remain those related to medicine and music, where I am able to combine the work with my interest for the subject. Accuracy, commitment and excellent writing skills make me a reliable and professional translator.

In May 2008 I became a member of BDÜ, the German Association of Translators and Interpreters and I have just joined the London Regional Group of the Institute of Translation and Intepreting (ITI). I plan to become a member of AITI, its Italian counterpart, in March 2009.

At the moment I am working as a teacher at the University of Surrey, in the Department of Languages and Translation Studies.
