Bio

I am
- a ceramics engineer and
- a specialist journalist for public relations and since 2013
- a certified technical editor.

Through activities in a wide variety of fields, e.g. in
- research and development of high-tech ceramics,
- quality assurance of coal-fired power plant components, in
- health policy, with
- artists and as an editor in the
- dairy industry, I have acquired a broad range of specialist knowledge and terminology of the respective fields, also in the English language.

As a translator I work(ed) freelance and part-time at different times.
Since 2014, I have worked continuously as a translator of subtitles for films and as a technical writer in translating operating manuals and updating websites/web catalogs in multiple languages (ERP systems).
Since 2022 I have been working with Storyline and Assima programs for e-learning projects.

I prefer orders for translation of all kinds of texts from English to German.
I also offer translations from German to English, depending on the type of text. Another language I speak is French, but I offer translation services only in written form and only from French to German.
