How far will energy go?
Around the world, energy costs are rising. In the UK, for example, an average-sized data centre uses more power in a year than the city of Leicester1.
And where does that energy go? In a majority of the world’s data centers, over 60 percent of a data centre’s energy is used for cooling the IT equipment2. Soon, it will actually cost more to power and cool a server over its lifetime than to buy it in the first place.
If companies want to be in business in the future, they will have to change the way they use power. Based on experience gained in the data centers of countless companies, as well as its own data centers, HP can help cut energy costs by as much as 50 to 60 percent. These power savings can have a profound impact – resulting in financial gains for IT operators and customers while giving the planet a badly needed environmental break.
Reduce energy consumption and costs
HP can realise vast savings in cooling energy costs by combining mechanical thermo-fluid engineering and computer science. But these gains are only achieved by cutting energy consumption and reducing the environmental impact at every level. For HP, sustainability means exploiting all power conservation opportunities in a data centre: from the small processor chips inside the servers to large data centre air conditioners. We call this approach: ‘chip to chiller.’ [leave untranslated].
After a decade of investing in research and development, HP has received more than 1,000 patents for advances in power and cooling technology. That is why Gartner research calls HP “the most vocal and visionary of the main server hardware vendors in addressing the issues.”3 HP’s BladeSystem c-Class servers use 30% less power than regular rack-mount servers and their ‘active fan technology’ – inspired by the jet engine - uses 50% less power than conventional cooling fans.

To avoid death or serious injury, ensure that the crane is on a firm surface with load and crane’s configuration within capacity as shown on the crane’s Load Chart and notes.
Do not lift loads unless the outriggers are properly extended and the crane leveled. On models equipped with outriggers that can be pinned at the mid-extend position, the outriggers must also be pinned when operating from the mid-extend position.
This crane should have a functional load moment indicator and control lock-out system. Test daily for proper operation. Never interfere with the proper functioning of operational aids or warning devices.
Before swinging the superstructure over the side when the outriggers are retracted, check the load chart for backwards stability.

Bio
My educational background is in Classical Studies and Creative Writing. Long story short, I am (at times dangerously) inclined to dig deep into words and concepts and am very considerate and responsible in their usage.
Fortunately gone are the days when I thought writing doesn’t pay your bills. Finding the artist in me quite late in life, I realized I was fighting the wrong battles, hiding behind titles like “Latin teacher”, for example. Yes, I did teach Latin at Sofia University for 6 years.
I made my first excursion into content writing in 2010. I knew I wanted to write and craft amazing content, but wasn't sure how exactly I was supposed to reconcile my idea of profound writing with the need for keyword stuffed content. I tried hard though and as a result I got into the habitus of writing for the web.
In 2011 I decided that the need to write could no longer be satiated with a part-time job and took the leap to leave behind all the structures I’d been part of for several years and become a freelance content writer. I started with writing texts for websites, and yes, this was SEO bulk copy stuff. Several months later I also began contributing to several online magazines and an offline one. In 2012 I completely moved to online publishing, helping companies with content creation, writing for their blogs.
Meanwhile things have changed.
Writing has started to go back to its original purpose - communicating with people. 2012 was also the year when I had the necessary space of time and the creative freedom to develop my own, very dear to my heart project, called eventsinbulgaria.com.
In 2013 I felt the need for a context different from my own and joined the team of Ognyan Mladenov, for whom I’ve been developing content as a freelancer since 2010. This was a life-changing year. As an in-house content writer at SEOM I developed written content, translated, curated, and took care of the content and the content strategy of the corporate website. Most importantly I joined Google Plus and set off on a journey.
Further on, happily having been given part of my time to dedicate to my own projects, I continued with Events in Bulgaria and also launched a blog in the beginning of 2014 (tfortext.com). I also enrolled in the PYB Academy course, becoming one of its founding members.
Later on, in mid 2014 I joined the PYB Team and also became a moderator of the Google Semantic Search community - both these help me expand my knowledge about Google +, semantic web and digital relationships, which are the basis of valuable content and effective, inspired writing.
My vision
Business is no separate from the things we do every day. Nor is marketing. Nor is digital presence.
All these are exchange. Exchange of goods, ideas, values and … texts.
Text is among the major vessels of messages. In these interconnected times, where markets have literally become dialogues (cf. Cluetrain Manifesto) we all write, as Ann Handley points out in her book Everybody writes.
I find the idea of marketing as igniting meaningful dialogues and creating and environment fostering both exchange and change fascinating.
In this win-win situation content, that is communication, is not only informational but also inspirational and open for everyone to continue creating.
