I am originally from Japan; and currently reside in Osaka.

I have studied and worked in a number of countries, including but not limited to Canada, U.S., Australia and Singapore.

My primary line of work has been for the most part, is freelancing in the translation and interpreting field. The primary range of
work I have been contracted worldwide as of today is translation of audit reports, website, system instruction manuals, contracts and patent applications.

I possess 20 years' plus experience of translation/interpreting in a variety of industrial fields such as software localisation, ISO known as International Organization of Standards for MUJI, AEON, UNIQLO, and some more large corporations headquartered in Japan, ILS (International Labor Standards) reports for Walt Disney, chemicals and juridical issues on top of several other work duties.

I have also conducted secretarial tasks as required and have extensive usage skills of PCs and computer applications with both Windows and Mac.

In addition to the education I have received in the area of consecutive interpreting, I have been successfully granted, from the Australian Government, the accreditation as NAATI-certified interpreter as a result. Most recently I have completed Master's course with major in Science in Translation, having been awarded a scholarship from U.S.

My work highlights attentiveness to details, punctuality, accuracy and a great work ethics which has been already appreciated by my previous employers and outsourcers.
