The story so far…
Walkthru, founded in 2006, keeps on going strong! Walkthru is a translation agency specializing
in computer and console game localization. All of our partners have studied languages and
translation at university level. However, sheer linguistic skill without a thorough knowledge of
games and gaming cannot ensure top quality, and this is why we tirelessly keep up with the latest
developments in the field even outside business hours (which means we really like to play, to the
point of being nerdy…)
We have paid our dues in numerous challenging translation and testing projects on every gaming
platform, and our associates include, among others, the ubiquitous Electronic Arts and several of
the most well-known localization companies. We also have excellent contacts with localization
professionals throughout the Nordic region.
Services
Here at Walkthru we do our best to improve and uphold the quality of game translations by using
unified practices and standards. We always ensure that each project is carried out by the same
translation team, from start to finish.
We also put a strong emphasis on proofreading and the constant monitoring and improvement
of quality. Each translation is proofread by the second translator appointed to the project in
question, and the translator always receives feedback from the proofreader. This practice ensures
that the same mistakes are not repeated and that the translators can hone their skills further.
To ensure both contextual and technical quality, the localized games also require thorough
language testing, of which we at Walkthru have many years of experience.
Language and culture are our specialities, and we are more than happy to assist in any issues
concerning these matters.

Cos'è successo finora...
Walkthru, fondata nel 2006, continua ad avere successo! Walkthru è un'agenzia di traduzione
specializzata in servizi di localizzazione di videogiochi per console e computer. Tutti i nostri
collaboratori hanno studiato lingue e traduzione a livello universitario. Tuttavia, sappiamo che
le sole abilità linguistiche, senza un'approfondita conoscenza dei videogiochi, non bastano a
garantire la massima qualità. È per questo motivo che ci teniamo aggiornati di continuo nel campo
video ludico, soprattutto durante il tempo libero (ebbene sì, ci piace davvero giocare, al punto tale

alcune tre le più importanti compagnie di localizzazione. Godiamo inoltre di eccellenti contatti con

utilizzando metodi e criteri unificati. Ci assicuriamo sempre che ogni progetto venga eseguito dallo
stesso team di traduzione, dall'inizio alla fine.
Inoltre diamo grande importanza alle revisioni e al costante controllo e miglioramento della
qualità. Ogni traduzione è revisionata da un secondo traduttore assegnato al progetto in
questione, e il traduttore riceve sempre il feedback del revisore. In questo modo non vengono
ripetuti gli stessi errori e i traduttori hanno la possibilità di perfezionare ulteriormente le loro
competenze.
Per garantire la qualità sia a livello contestuale che tecnico, i giochi localizzati necessitano anche
del controllo linguistico, e noi di Walkthru contiamo anni di esperienza in questo settore.
