Bio
I am a former physical therapist who used to work with both outpatients and professional athletes. After obtaining my translation degree, I focused mainly on medical and sports-related translations.
Being an avid reader, I now also enjoy translating fiction. 2014 has been a busy year for me; I have already completed several book translations, among them a novel for young adults, two murder mysteries and a romance novel.
I used to live in the US and return every year to keep my language skills up up to date.
As a state-certified and sworn translator I am also a member of the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ), the American Translators Associaton (ATA), and the Association of German Translators of Literature and Works of Science (VdÜ).
