My particular specialties are law and medicine, including medical and dental technology texts.

I hold a BA (Hons) degree in German and Law (English & German), so whilst I am not a fully qualified lawyer, I do have a detailed knowledge of both legal systems and their terminology. My MA in Translation included comparative law courses as well as specific legal terminology courses.
Throughout my degree and continuously since then, I have translated interviews and documentation for a medical marketing research company which has given me a good broad knowledge of the medical field, a knowledge I have now expanded through translation experience of e.g. dental technology texts, medical equipment catalogues and advertising material.
