Bio
I'm a native Japanese translator living near Tokyo.
I could say I'm able to communicate with an English person about general subject by written and verbal English since I have pre-1 grade of EIKEN (Test in Practical English Proficiency).
I worked for a major electronic manufacturing company as a translator and proofreader for semiconductor device specifications which contain CCD, CMOS sensor, LCD, laser diode, system LSI and so on from 1980 to 2013. I was also a member of JEITA, Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association, so I know well about technical terms for electronic and semiconductor devices. Besides specifications, I've been handled various kinds of Japanese documents into English and English documents into Japanese, for example users manual and press release.
After that, I worked for a translation company for a year. I could experience translation in various fields as well as conventional semiconductor, electronics, machinery.
And now I'm a freelancer from December 2014.
