I have a graduate's degree in Chemistry and worked for 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in biological products.
I then worked as a free-lance translator fro a few years. After that I worked as a translator in the UN Secretariat for 5 years and at the UN Economic Commission for Latin-America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago Chile.
I retired in 2003 and have been working as a free-lance translator for the UN Contractual Translation Unit, FAO, PAHO and ECLAC.
